husband, two children, and three Chihuahuas,
Kathy has put her talents to work
living the crafty life and
loving it!
"At first I turned to art to
express myself. I wanted to add beauty
to the world, and stay at home to paint with
my husband, who is also an artist. After 10
years of doing it, I realized that the best
way I could spread beauty was to inspire and
teach others to do the same. So I launched
CraftyChica.com to offer artsy ideas.
Art is so healing. I think
the world would be a shinier place if more
people used art to release their energy.
I author books, teach workshops and
demonstrate ideas regularly on local and
national TV. My next dream? To have my
recently-finished novel bought by a major
trade publishing house - this summer. I'm
willing it to happen!"
