The R.E.N.E.E. (Remedial Education Needs Empathetic Endeavors) FUND was created in 1995 by Renee Riendeau upon her retirement from the Glendale Unified School District.  The R.E.N.E.E. FUND provides grants to help learning-disabled children who have suffered the loss of a parent or sibling, or other trauma in their lives.  In the past ten years, the R.E.N.E.E. FUND has helped children with such life experiences as music, dance, swimming, camp, and therapy.
